Default Overpair on low flop 150BBs deep HU vs. shipurstack

Fish just sat out and this is my second hand with him (planning to leave after this hand). In the first hand, he raised PF, I called, then I check/folded to a CBet on a 9s-J-Ks flop. In a 6-max game I have him running at 28%/22% over a couple thousand hands.

He strikes me as the type of player who would want to establish himself as the aggressor in the beginning of a HU match. But, as I've never played him HU before, I don't know for sure.

hm id say fold unless you have a good read, which it doesnt sound like you do

didnt see who villain was, just that you called him a fish...
this being shipurstack actually swings this to a call for me but it is close

Pretty interesting hand. I'm not too crazy about your line but I think a call is in order.

I dont think I would ever fold this when he can be semi bluffing with a ton of combinations of hands. Mean while there are relatively few made hands that have us crushed

i dont see the 5 hitting him unless he has A4cc or 46cc, he might have slowplayed a set but for the second hand HU that's giving him a lot of credit. If he runs 28/22 im assuming he's aggressive, if his AF is 3+ im probably looking him up, looks like a big combo draw and the only legit 2pair out there is 85s. If his AF is 2 or less i'd fold.

HU is pretty player dependent esp in spots like this so without a read use your PT stats and AF is pretty important here in determining if he is capable of CRAI a big draw.
