Default Odd overbet 5/10 , make Hero call??

Game is 6 handed, have just joined room, no real reads on villian, although he seems a little spewy. . (sorry if this is hard to read i couldnt get the hand converted properly)

Seat 1: ($1,170.00 in chips)
Seat 3: ($1,256.00 in chips)
Seat 5: ($1,208.15 in chips)
Seat 6: short stacker ($138.75 in chips) DEALER
Seat 8: Villian ($1,282.25 in chips)
Seat 10: Hero ($1,000.00 in chips)
Villian: Post SB $5.00
Hero: Post BB $10.00 <font color="blue"> </font>
<font color="black"> </font>

*** HOLE CARDS *** A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
P 1-3 fold
Shortstacker Min raises to 20
Villian Reraised to 50 in SB
i reraised to 160 (i considered folding but thought villian might have a wide range to reraise with here and i didnt mind isloating the shortstaker and taking down a small pot)
Short stacker thinks Then calls all in
Villian Thinks for a while then calls

Flop 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Pot is around 470 with around 6 dollors in a sidepot.

Villian insta shoves allin for 1.1k
I have 839 left... hero?

I was unsure of how i playd this and wanted to see what other players thought

My problem with how he playd it is, doesnt AA-QQ check raise all in? (he has to assume i Continuation bet a lot on the flop) any reasonable hand i.e set/weired 2 pairs or big pairs surely check raise all in to get more $$ into the pot.... this line didnt make sense,
Thnks

Seems like a pretty easy fold. Maybe he is sometimes pushing you out of split, or few rare times pushing with AQ or 97, but id say you are so often behind that it is an easy fold.

is he pushing 800 to win $6 with somethin that doesnt beat A high? I doubt it... He has JJ or QQ here like 100% of the time

This line makes sense with a mid pair that doesn't want to get sucked out on. He is probably an inexperienced player... neway obv fold flop, but preflop is ok. I'd say vs a shortstacker minraise he could reraise with a lot of pairs, which you'll fold a lot out when you reraise preflop, and he could also have ATs+. So yea, std preflop.
