I was permabanned by Gildwulf. IP banned. The bad kind of banned, the kind where you delete your cookies and still can't view the forums.

I'm sure you all want to know what was in the post that I made that got me banned. Well, I don't remember exactly, but the basis of it was racially motivated crass humor directed towards Yves. I posted it, then realized that the PC detector would probably go off in 2p2 headquarters, so I deleted it. It was only up for about a minute. FTR- I copied a joke from King of the Hill, a show that airs on public TV, and I think that might have sealed the deal. It wasn't out of hate, more out of juvenile fraternity type hazing I guess you could say. Like I said, I realized I might have gone too far so I deleted the thread. I think it had gotten about 4 views when I deleted it. The next morning I went to surf my beloved 2p2 and OH NOEZ!

So I wrote an explanation to Ryan Beal that was very thorough and detailed, and I said that I'd refrain from posting that type of content in the future. I'm on very thin ice. I was glad that the majority of you were not in favor of my permaban, and those that were need to learn how to use the ignore TxRedMan function. I think the Admin's added that feature recently...

It's a shame I wasn't around for the MSPaint wars, I would have submitted pics of myself for you crafty MSPainters who could have used some more Tex material in your e-toons that Gildwulf sponsored to flame me, troll me, and otherwise ridicule me. The funny thing in all of this, is that, I have a sense of humor. I'll submit myself for ridicule on this forum if it's funny, and I don't mind being made fun of, nor do I take myself that seriously- but it's a double standard. I mean, honestly, shouldn't creating MSpaints about members of this site that include language that talks about their genitalia and slanders images of said poster be out of bounds if the latest BBV no-no is also out of bounds?
I understand the method to the madness- there's no body language online. There's no tone of voice. We can't have a "TxRedMan Roast" or an "Yvesaint" roast b/c someone will probably say in all seriousness 'perish in a bad manner' and ruin the fun.

So, given the fact that I prefer posting in these forums as opposed to simply browsing them, I'm through responding to posts that serve no purpose other than juvenile mischief- however I will miss them.

I hope it's clear to everyone here that I'm not a racist, but I do consider on a personal level any and all racial humor to be funny except when it offends those who don't know the difference or refuse to see it. i.e., Curb your enthusiasm season one.

But, some good things did come from the ban.

I realized I couldn't surf 2p2 so I was like.....Vegas. Okay, let's go.

WE ROLL UP AND SOME SECURITY DUDE IS LIKE ABOUT TO TRIP BUT I FLASH THE REDMAN CARD AT HIM AND HE BECOMES TEMPORARILY BLINDED BY MY GREATNESS, SO WE PROCEED TO CHECK IN AT THE ULTRA FEUDAL SYSTEM TYPE VIP WHERE THERE AINT NO LINES AND THE STREETS ARE PAVED WITH GOLD. AKA THEY PUT ME UP IN A SUITE, WITH A WHIRLPOOL TUB THAT'S BIG ENOUGH FOR ME AND AT LEAST TWO THOROUGHBREDS AND I GOTS 42" PLASMAS THAT ROTATE TO SUIT MY POSITION IN THIS PIECE.

Getting banned = +ev? b/c more poker time? nah..-EV, i can't insult the likes of Mlagoo and the noteable twit, and everyone else who picked me from the rose from which i came and stuck me in their side....

i'm still lazy about playing online though...sort of....it took me like a 9 days to play 3,000+ hands...

good to have you back and good post. I agreed to have you back cause your apology seemed sincere and I missed you.

The txredman vacation ms paint was a suggestion of a poster which I thought was a great idea. Evenkeal and Dids and whoever else was having their 10 minutes of bbv fame that week got the same treatment so you should feel honored instead of getting defensive.
