CNN to air real-time pipeline of 9/11
I visited cnn.com today and read that they are going to reair their 9/11/01 broadcast beginning at 8:30am. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on whether or not this was appropriate.

I think it will be fascinating, appropriate or not. I was in a basement at a remote office on that tuesday, getting the story through IRC from coworkers. I caught a glimpse of TV at lunch, but didn't really see much until after work.

I was a senior in high school and didn't even know what was going on until 11am since the internet was so bogged down. I will definitely watch, although it will probably be tough.

I managed to record the first 8 hours of coverage from just before the attacks to all through the day from CNBC. (Thank you Dishplayer 500.)
I watch the first few hours about once a year. If you haven't seen the day since 5 years ago, you'll be fascinated by how much they get right and how much they get wrong during the event. It's total chaos. Watch it if you get the chance.
