Default Question on overall sng 1 table strategy

Not really a "n00b", but just frustrated

Obviously you all know the "tight early, crazy-aggressive late" strategy, but it seems like everyone does that, and winning is pretty much a coin flip. With that said, what to do to counter that? I mean, every book says something like "to win in the long run you gotta play with (previously mentioned) strategy". Well whateve dude, at best I hang around or less than the rake. After playing quite a bit, I've noticed I have a decent table feel, is the super aggressive strategy suitable for sng (like playing every hand)? Like I used it not too long ago, and did fairly well, until I got too aggressive, but it was just one sample so whateve. I have a decent feel for what push people over the edge and fold, big problems for me are being too committed to a hand and being WAY too aggressive.

So basically I'm wanting to take the luck out of sng and use my strength and control things. Is this successful?

Like seriously, every book says to play the previous strategy, and I'm just not buying it. The people good at poker can't just be counting on that bs luck.

I play tight early and play selectively aggressive around the bubble and am a winning player, many play the same style and make a living off sngs. My suggestion is to check out the faq thread at the stt forum. Get poker tracker and pahud. Get either sngwiz or sng power tools. The reason you're not winning is either you have too small of a sample size or you're not good at sngs.

In short:
1) Get pokertracker and pahud
2) Get sng power tools or sng wizard
3) Look at the faq in the STT forum
4) Post hands and comment on posted hands
5) Review hands and plug bubble hands where you have effective 10bb stacks into sng power tools or sng wizard
6) Learn ICM by applying what you learn from 5)
7) Repeat
8) ???
9) Profit

Something I do and you may find it works for you is to heag to Google.com and type into the search box: site:twoplustwo.com 'search query'

This'll return search results from 2p2 solely.
