calling the turn isn't too hot either but not gross

I disagree, the turn call seems pretty good to me. I don't think we can get the button to lay down any pair here so check raising out of position doesn't make sense to me. Folding seems even worse. We often times have a 10 outs here. I would discount that to about 7 or 8 outs.

you're also often time reverse dominated ... you have given yourself enough outs to justify a call (and is way too high ... and has not included rake or when you)

also ... you will not be able to maximize your turn call when you hit on the river

this may be a calling when in position by not when out of postion

The only hands that the villain can have where we don't have at least seven outs are sets, QJ, AA, KK and A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The villain limped on the button so I think we can take A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], AA, and KK out of his range. That leaves just QJ and sets both of which may have raised preflop.
