Default AT in BB vs button raiser

Trying not to be results oriented and wondering if I played this hand in a +EV manner, or if it's too reckless.

This is button's 3rd hand at the table. 1st, from BB, he put in a big raise vs a limper and everyone folded. 2nd, he completed SB vs a limper and bet out on flop, everyone folded. So not much of a read but seems fairly active. He probably has no image of me.

Without any sort of read, I'll often just fold it preflop, although I guess this might be a little nitty. The flop push is really really bad imo and is just handing money out.

I like it if you have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] instead.

This is just terrible.

I think pre-flop is completely standard. Also good flop to c-bet I think. Do you think a min-raise is great strength here from an apparently loose opponent?

This situation is read oriented. Unless you have a good read on your opponent, it cannot be +EV. The push with A high cannot be +EV in the long run. What outs are you expecting to hit. Yes, you probably feel the Villain is playing like a maniac, so your push gives you some folding equity. Whether it is positive or negative EV, it is unknown. Expect large swing of your bankroll when playing against a maniac or loose aggressive. Hope you won the hand because I cannot put villain in any range of hands.

I think Villain has to have AK+ or a 6 to call. I can win the $67 in the pot if he doesn't have either of those hands. Often when I see this kind of minraise stuff it's a medium pair wanting to see if his hand is good or not.

Still, there are probably other perhaps better ways to play it, like calling, checking turn, then betting river if he checks behind.
