Have a question regarding live betting and markets
I would like to know a good place to do some live betting? Also looking to experiment in the betting markets. It works like a stock exchange in principal right? Also any other advice is appreciated.. thanks

Re: Have a question regarding live betting and markets
Sportsbetting is analagous to derivatives trading, not equity markets.

Re: Have a question regarding live betting and markets
I can give you a referral for a bonus at Tradesports. I would split the bonus with you.
The exchanges are thinly traded for some events and pretty liquid in others. Tradesports has some interesting markets in weather related events, such as hurricanes and snowfall. They also have financial contracts in addition to sports. Live betting is pretty interesting, especially for football and baseball, which are play by play driven. |

Live betting is as easy as day-trading. It's been called "The Crack Cocaine of Betting" as is every bit as safe as crack. [/ QUOTE ] What do you mean? When you live bet, you have to cap on the fly, so obviously your ability to find small edges is decreased significantly. But it more than makes up for it because the books set the lines on the fly, so it's possible to find huge holes all the time. When I'm watching a game like MNF I'll log on to Pinny and find that halfway through the game or later you're basically making a bet on the next play, so it's much easier to calculate EV |

Re: Have a question regarding live betting and markets
Tradesports, Betfair (they don't take US residents), Matchbook, and (once in a while) Mansion offer live betting using an exchange format. WSEX, Pinnacle, and TheGreek offer live betting using a format where they set a line and you can bet it. I'm sure there are many other books who offer live betting but those are the ones off the top of my head.
