Re: Bodog Warning
If you deposit via Neteller you have to do 3x the amount equal to the deposit plus the bonus. If you deposit via any other method then it's 1x the deposit + bonus.
I've never known Bodog to allow partial bonus earnings, it's either an all or none deal as far as satisfying their rollover requirements. And they will zap all of the bonus and profits if you do withdraw prior to clearing their reqs. It's shown here in the terms for their initial sign-up bonus -- https://www.bodog.com/bonuses/initDeposit.jsp. It sucks what happened, and from your account they handled it pretty poorly. Although it does sound like Bodog adhered to the terms that are clearly posted on their site. I don't think you're going to get any resolution from SBR or any other watchdog-type site. |

(note that 22,880 is all but 120 of the 23k) RE: Payout Reference Number 1991687 Thank you for your recent payout request dated Wed, Nov 8, 2006. Unfortunately, our records show that you have not met the bonus rollover requirements. Should you decide to proceed with this payout request we will deduct the bonus portion from the account and issue a payout for the amount of $22,880.00. If you cancel this payout request within 48 hours the bonus portion will remain in your account. Sincerely, Bodog.com Payouts Team |

Re: Bodog Warning
It is strange that they mentioned holding out 6% of the bonus amount. I'm not sure what that's all about.

Re: Bodog Warning
Caveat, you guys apparently were on the square and did absolutely zilcho wrong. With that said, the $20,000 deposit probably got you some extra scrutiny. Definitely sucks the way you got treated. Have read that Bodog adjusts their lines at the SB for each user and their language about bonus abuse at poker seems a little vague to me. Anyway never have deposited there for those reasons but I concede that I may not be right.

Re: Bodog Warning
Did this issue ever get resolved? I hoped that Bodog would have seen the errors of their ways by now. However, since I haven't seen an update here, I'm afraid Bodog is still screwing players.

[/ QUOTE ] At least it's not Full Tilt. They would have kept their deposit and then stopped answering. In all seriousness, if they take this up with Mike Shackleford, I'd be surprised if he doesn't get it cleared up. |

[ QUOTE ] I withdrew my money last year in preemptive support! [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] That's funny. I view what FTP did as way worse than what Bodog did. Bodog reacted naturally to what happened to them...It's borderline "bonus abuse" but obviously I think they are wrong and should pay the customers. The bets they made were so small (to win $50) that it's absurd they don't just pay them and chalk it up to experience. Fortunately, Bodog has a very powerful dispute resolution service in the Wizard of Odds, and I really think he can get them paid (that is, if he agrees they should get paid). This doesn't exist for Full Tilt, in fact nobody even closely independant has seen the evidence in that case. Yet you pound Bodog for protecting their lines/bonuses and expect nothing out of FTP? I've never asked this of anyone before, but "Are you an FTP affiliate?" |
