Do you have any information on this player or any reads? Looks like an easy fold vs most standard players.

No read, I literally just sat down and this is in my first lap. Looked the guy up in PT and I have 1 hand on him.

Nevermind, your posts have me screwed up I just answered your other post and then came back to this so I thought it was 100nl when I re-read it. With no reads I stand by my original answer and fold.

Sorry about the confusion. I did fold -- what about pf? Standard call or too loose with 4 to act? What if my call closed the action?

As played:

Preflop is debatable, but with no information on the raiser and no aggressive players behind me I probably play it the same.

On the flop you're behind AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 44, 55. Ahead of 66, 77, 88, 99, TT, AK, AQ. I'm not sure I like raising here, though it does let you get away from it early if you're crushed. I think I'd rather call on the flop. You let hands like 99, TT, or something like JT get itself into trouble. But more importantly there are a lot of ways the turn can play out... you have a BDFD, which might let me call another bet if the [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] comes, you have a few outs to trips and 2 pair which are probably good, and there's always the possibility that villain checks to you on the turn, allowing you to see a showdown on the river for a bet (from either him or you).

Its passive, and depending on the card and the action you may still have to drop without knowing quite where you are, but I think I peel and see if I can't improve.
