[/ QUOTE ] Hey CTS, I think you're right about hand one but I don't know about hand two. I normally check it back also, but I disagree about it being a good bluffing line. I don't know how believable a turn bet on a blank is unless the villain puts you on a 8x. Betting the turn with a flush draw or gutterball is fundamentally wrong and it seems like a poor board to check top set. Two types of Villains it could work on: 1. A villain who refuses to play a big pot with one pair hands. 2. A very smart villain, who also thinks you are very smart, and decides that you checked a big hand to mess with his hand reading. |
