Horrible situation. I just don't see how btn can have anything but a set...but of course he can. I had to figure out how often he needs to have KK or something goofy?...looks like its 12.5% of the time (below).

Clearly you can't fold this...painful though

x=%of time villain has set
x[.92*(-23)+.08*(103)]+(1-x)(100)=0
x=88.5%

so were pushing here EVENTHOUGH were 90% sure one of (if not both ) the 2 other players in the pot has a set?? I understand that we have 1/2 our stack already in and if it were HU i wouldnt hesitate to push , but 3 way also?

Might have KK-QQ so most def push, IMO you should just sit out or observe how they play before sitting at a table.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't understand anybody who said this. There is not just one person in the pot with the OP. There are 2 and that is cause for A LOT more concern.

I think the major mistakes in the hand were not reraising enough preflop and betting too much on the flop. Make it $8 preflop. Bet $13-$16 on the flop and decide what to do after that. As played it's a terrible spot and in the heat of battle I call and hate it.

I think that if KK or QQ actually beat us, people would be saying Button probably doesn't have those hands since he didn't reraise preflop.

Nevertheless, I think we should push and hope we're up against a very optimistically played TT or something. It seems to me that we're pretty much committed with our AA at this point, getting over 2:1.

I'm going to post the results as they really don't matter. All the decisions are made after the flop.

I was correct about the BB but the Button was a surprise.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($58.90)
CO ($44.30)
Button ($60.65)
Hero ($49.50)
BB ($56.40)
UTG ($32.90)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $1.50, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, BB calls $5.50, UTG folds, Button calls $4.50.

Flop: ($19.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, BB calls $20, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $54.65</font>, Hero calls $23.50 (All-In), BB calls $30.40 (All-In).

Turn: ($163.80) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 2 all-in)</font>

River: ($163.80) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 2 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $163.80

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Ad Ah (three of a kind, aces).
BB has Kh Kd (one pair, kings).
Button has 6h 7d (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins $150. BB wins $13.80. Button wins $4.25. </font>
