Default 600NL FPS?

converter won't work so...

3/6

CO dead posts, and seeing 3 people with money in the pot confuses me as I glance at the table and I limp UTG+1 with 66 thinking that I am limping behind another player... 3 other players limp, sb completes, and the other two guys check, so we're seeing a flop 7 ways

flop is 6d 3d 2d and the blinds check, I bet $34, next guy calls, all others fold

turn is the case 6, I bet $68, he calls again

river is a 5. He has $252 left which is just barely more than the size of the pot... I check

guy was 100% unknown to me

oh, and this was a pot limit table, that's why there were 7 players to the flop lol

I don't know much about 3/6, but it looks like a perfect spot to induce a bluff to me. He's calling twice in a row with a flush, a draw, or because he thinks you're full of it, no? As long as he's not a nit, I think there's a solid chance he'll fire.

I usually just shove against shorties since they suck and will call you with all shorts of crap but I think this is still a good spot for a c/r. This would be super sexy if he was full stacked.

I disagree, I think there is better value in pushing.

I'd hate to have str8s and flushes check behind on the paired board.

If he has a smaller boat then it doesn't matter.

So push and hope the str8 or flush calls.

I think I'd pot the river. He will call with plenty of hands that he will think are good at aleast 33% of the time.

Checking on the river when you can't get much more out of a check raise than you can get by leading out seems like a bad idea since there are plenty of hands (i.e. flushes and straights) that he might call a psb from you with on the river with which he might either check behind with or even bet small/fold to a raise on the river.

You're absolutely right, I stand corrected. He'll probably call for the same reasons I listed, with a 6-high, paired and coordinated board like this.

This is probably why 2-3 times a session someone checks behind me and turns over a hand that they would've stacked off with, and I get to fight the tilt-inducing experience of seeing my opponent keep all those chips that would've been mine.

the guy just calls on the flop with 5 people to act behind him... now to me I'm thinking either he's getting real sneaky with something (in which case he bets the river), or he doesn't really have much (in which case he may not call a third barrel)

so I check to let him bluff with the Ad or valuebet worse... although I might miss some value against 8d8x or something... but those types of hands can't make up too much of his range, I mean he just overlimped preflop so big pairs very unlikely, and he could not have flopped top pair so.....

I still like bet better.

He may have been "getting sneaky" on the flop with a hand he doesn't like so much anymore.

Ad is the best case scenario for a c/r but I think the combination of all of the other hands in his range favor betting.

Edit: I basically think he is never going to valuebet worse but he might call with the same hands.
