NL10 Trips get raised on the river
UTG is 43/13/0.5 over 160 hands. He's rather passive, plays very straight forward and calls way too much with draws.
This is my 11th hand at the table, so no specific reads for the session. Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $4.06 Hero (BB): $12.80 UTG: $10.69 CO: $2.09 BTN: $9.37 Preflop: Hero is dealt 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG calls $0.10, CO calls $0.10, BTN folds, SB calls $0.05, Hero checks Flop: ($0.40) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $0.40</font>, UTG calls $0.40, 2 folds Turn: ($1.20) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $1.20</font>, UTG calls $1.20 River: ($3.60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $2.50</font>, <font color="red">UTG raises to $8.10</font>, Hero? |

Re: NL10 Trips get raised on the river
Fold, you beat only a pure bluff.

Re: NL10 Trips get raised on the river
An easy fold. If UTG plays straightforward ABC poker then chances are he won't be bluffing this hand.

Re: NL10 Trips get raised on the river
Thanks guys, I did fold the hand seeing nothing that I could realistically beat but when I was looking at the hand again today I somehow felt I might have been a bad fold.

Re: NL10 Trips get raised on the river
Easy fold. Your opponent seems to have made a flush, and if not, then at the minimum trips, and undoubtedly with a higher kicker then yours.

Re: NL10 Trips get raised on the river
I would not think this kid made the flush. With his hand percentage, I think he may have 56 or something, and calls down with the open-ender that catches on the river.
