Default [50NL] QQ gets raised op the flop by UTG limper

Villain is 20 / 12 / 3 over 140 hands. I haven't seen him get out of line yet. He's shown two hands at showdown: two pair and a set. That's all I know from him.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($89.40)
Hero ($92.45)
Button ($32.25)
SB ($49.65)
BB ($40.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.5, 3 folds, UTG calls $2.

Flop: ($5.75) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.25, UTG raises to $14, Hero ??

I don't like this. A few hands earlier villain raised a preflop raiser on the flop when villain flopped a set.
A few hands later I too get raised on the flop. Did he hit a set again or is he getting tricky with aces? Or is he juist making a play?
I'm in position, should I call? Or should I just let it go and wait for a better spot because we are both so deep?
I'm have to call ~$10 for what, hope he checks de turn and doesn't make a big bet on the river?

Help me out guys.

his range for limp/calling UTG is prolly mostly pps and SC/Axs

you're 50/50 vs axs, 44, 22 and some mid pp/SC thrown in there. Sicnce you're ip you can call and then raise ai on a blank turn. the only hands i can se him gaving that beat you are 22/44, you're flipping with most others on the flop, but on a blank turn his equity drops.

We both have 180bb stacks. So going all-in with just an overpair is not something I really like to do against an opponent who has shown decent play during the whole session.

Too nitty?

no, i know getting it ai with QQ here for 180bb is not something i like doing... im just trying to put him on a range and do whats most EV. he makes a decent sized raise, either he wants to builda pot with something big.. or he wants FE. I htink you're 50/50 on the flop, but i dunno how hes gonna play his draws on a blank turn. I dont like calling and hoping he checks a blank turn

EDIT: said JJ instead of QQ

Yes an overpair is definitely not strong enough for an all in with 180bb stacks, or for 100bb stacks given this action IMO. I think you see a set here most of the time but you also see 55,66,77 trying to take the pot down quickly oop thinking they may have the best hand on such a dry board. Also villian could be making an agressive raise with the 3,5 OESD. Therefore I think calling the raise is fine. If villian bets the turn strongly then I fold.

I looked up in pokertracker how many times he check-raised on the flop. He does that 1.5% of the time. So this hand is the only time he did that.
That probably means he does't checkraise with a flushdraw, and probably doesn't do that with JQs or something.

Btw. I would get it all-in with JJ on this flop. But not with QQ.
