25 NL AK flop AK9 reraised
Villain is weak. Last hand he slowplayed a straight on a flop with 3 spades. What should I do here with his raise? Is there any way I can avoid shoving?

Re: 25 NL AK flop AK9 reraised
One way or another, you're playing for 52 BB stacks here.
I probably would 3-bet to like $8 and let him be the one to put me all-in, with the plan of pushing for his last measly $4 on any turn if he just called. Just pushing on the flop is more standard, I guess, but this seems like one of those spots where a donkish play might be more successful than a big 3-bet. Edit: Calling on the flop and then leading again on any turn seems like another consideration. |

set villain all in? other option is call and bet turn, but why give villain a look at the turn.
