No, there is probably an additional 3%-5% for staff so add a minimum of 3% more to your numbers.....

in a way, yes.
550 is the total cost of the event. 50/550=.09 (9%)
so 9 percent of your money goes to the house. I gues it's a difference in methodology

3% will be withheld fo dealers and staff. Standard practice.

We will be using the old style adjustment of the blinds. I prefer the other way, but what can you do....

So they make everybody happy by running the Bellagio tournament through, only to turn around and not do it again after it worked so well? I understand it was a "test" run, but that blows.

Mike Matusow is convinced the structure of WPT finals is changed permanently.

I was just thinkin' about it like going to a bookie in the old days. ie lay 110 to win 100 (like payin' $10 juice to gamble for a $100)

I haven't placed a bet in years and don't know if it is still applicable or ever was for that matter.

I've been wondering what the "industry standard" has evolved to. Now I knoes. lol
