Default $16 - J8s vs solid regular

BB was 19/13, was multitabling and seemed solid.
How is this?

BB (t3775)
UTG (t2640)
MP (t1945)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t400</font>, BB calls t250.

I don't like it.

Pf is ok I suppose. Then I check it down.

If you want to bet, do it on the flop.

Agree. As played, I never ever ever call that river bet.

lol who does? I think OP wanted comments on earlier streets. PF is probably fine tho I usually just fold here. As played I'd cbet 400 on the flop then c/f if he calls.

What solid reg is 19/13? Seems pretty loose for a solid reg. I might complete pf but I'm done with the hand after the flop as played. c/f

I would just complete pre flop. I hate raising out of the small blind with a marginal hand while the stacks are deep for 1. 2, i hate getting called and having to play my hand OOP in a bloated pot.

There isn't much of a reason to get too active in this spot. If you want complete, but a raise seems like a leak.

I don't think raising pre is that bad. I think he will fold like 80% of the hands.
I did not bet the turn, because he might have called with a Q or K.
I bet on the turn to represent a hearth flush.
Is that really that bad?
If he has not got a high heart doesn't he have a hard time calling?

What stats has a solid reg in your experience then?

I think just completing preflop is bad. You are out of position the rest of the hand, and by showing weakness, you are giving villain a chance to push you out before you see a flop. I don't mind the raise, though folding isn't bad either. As played, I probably cbet the flop but shut down if I get called.
