Confused by the time the river hits here.....
Since i'm pretty sure he either caught the ace or was on a draw.........and guess what there's no way in hell of telling!
Caught the ace: 50% On a busted draw: 50% So I feel that check/folding it too weak....yet what is the point of check/calling? Would it be better to bet instead? Or will we only get called by better hands, thus attempting to induce a bluff by checking the river? Thanks alot guys. Maybe one day i'll be a winner. Re: Confused by the time the river hits here.....
You'd probably get more joy in microstakes NL, which is here.
I'd just check and call the river. Threehanded, you probably have the best hand. He will call you down if he's paired any of the three cards on the flop, or has a pair. He'd probably call a small bet on the river with them too, but raise you off it sometimes with a better hand, sometimes with a bluff. If you check, he'll bet some of the hands that would call you, and some bluffs -- a draw is a likely hand on that board, particularly if he had a hand like 7d6d that semi-improved on the river. He'll also bet the hands that beat you, but you lose less by not betting them into him. |
