1/2 pocket 4īs would you push this?
1/2 5-max.
Villian is shortstacked and probably pretty fishy, he has 89 dollar preflop. Hero is in BB and is dealt 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Preflop: Villian raise to 8 on CO, Hero calls in BB. Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villian checks. Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villian bets 12, Hero makes it 36. Villian calls. River J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Villian has 46 left. I figure since I raised this turn I have to push river, since I am going to call his push if I check and he pushes. Anybody like my turn raise? Would you push this river, or c/f, c/c?

I would check/call, this will save u money just in case he hit his flush. Sometimes we will only bet a small amount when we hit or flush. there's also a chance of the straight or higher trips.

Although his turn call would have to make you nervous, push here is fine. Wanna get as much value as you can from worse and you are commited anyway.

Itd be weird for him to have a flush since the flop got checked thru. if you lost I think it was probably to a 6 that figured he was chopping
I'm torn on the turn... I think he folds all his bluffs of which there are a lot and calls w/ the straight obv. what were you gonna do if 3bet?

[/ QUOTE ] If he would come over the top of me on turn i would have called his allin bet. It would only cost me 42 or so and I thought I had the best hand, and if he had the straight I would have decent chance of hitting a boat.
