Default (hacked) concerns with a large bankroll

ok this is my 1st post I check this site when I have issues, but i never really had a major issue until now.
I am a regular on pokerstars probably an iffy or borderline regular to alot of you. So i have a bankroll that is way overolled for what i play ive played as high as 25-50nl, now over the last 2 months my internet has shown up as insecure and ive had my ebay and paypal hacked and my comp shows up that theres no malware or windows defender on i was on the phone with dell for about 4 hours and its still atleast a week away b4 they can just start to try and help me. My question or concern is how do i protect myself for the now and for the FUTURE since i plan to go for nova elite and ill probably like for my roll to keep growing and not have to worry about everything thats possible thanks imeasy2read

Make sure your computer is up to date
Use a good anti-virus program
Scan with at least two anti-spyware programs.
Check for root kits
Use a good firewall
Even more security, use a router that does NAT.

Just keep your MS patches and antivirus uptodate, dont' download any suspicious attachments or programs. Those actions alone go a long way to keeping your new PC clean.

Given what's at stake, If you evidence that the computer itself was hacked (not just your online accounts), you should probably reformat hard drive/reinstall operating system. Make sure you have a good antivirus/ firewall installed before connecting to the internet again. (shouldn't this be in the computer forum?)

You play 25/50 (NL5000) or NL25 and NL50?
