3bet pf. And I think you have plenty of fe on the flop, why wouldn't you? Button's pfraising range is pretty wide and everyone checked to him on the flop so why wouldn't he cbet here with a wide range? I think either leading flop or c/r is fine...

I do something a bit different in this spot - I would raise his PF bet 3x, then on the flop I would bet out a lot of the time. By raising PF you make your c-bet on the flop more "legit" and you take initiative away from him.

You may never stack an opponent this way but the simple fact is your hand isn't huge at all. Small hands = small pots. TPTK is just that.

If he shows strength by raising the flop you can fold _or_ float and try to take it away on the turn when your cards hit (or bluff if you've got the reads etc)

so my two cents - I like to push AQs a bit more PF out of position and not get into huge pots with a marginal hand. PF raise gives you a completely different line for the hand.

I don't like 3-bet preflop because I generally dislike putting money OOP. It is a good option against stealing-inclined button, but I don't think it is a correct default play.

With such a strong draw, I'd definitely make a decent reraise on the flop.

3bet pre or call meh I do both-prefer a call here.

lead flop for a potential bet 3bet AI (b3bAI) -reduce the field and clean up your pair outs.

As played on the flop I lead on the turn -as [played with that action 3way AI i think we have 9outs may be more vs 2pairs like 34s and am not happy about it but get AI.

In general you didn't play aggressive poker -you could have bet/raised preflop, flop or turn but didn't and this made the hand difficult to play and less EV -basically yes to your questions so @least your thinking right

3betting pf if the best line here. Button is raising with a fairly wide range (most of which you crush). Playing AQs likely 3handed OOP sucks. Most of the time your 3bet will take it down, and other times a flop cbet will. If he 4bets pf you can get away from the hand. Right now you really don't have much of an idea what his hand is...
