Simply asking: Would there be a large problem with testing this concept during the first week of November/throughout the month of november? Stars will be fighting FTOPs a bit anyway; how bad would it be to test this concept? Even if only in lieu of DS's for a week? If the number of registered/total rake earned is higher, test again?

Dear PokerStars,

PokerStars Sunday Million STEPS

Due to the huge success and popularity of the PCA STEP satellite system, please create a STEP program for the Sunday Millions.

I hardly ever play the Sunday Million in large part because I despise the DS satellites and often do not have the time to play a 5 hour $2R sat. Frankly the lack of time I have to play is one of the key reasons I don't bother with trying to sat into the Millions each week.

I would probably end up playing the Millions/2nd Chance/etc every single week if the STEP program below was created.
Getting casual players like me to move up to larger events would increase how much we play while not bankrupting us. Also the steps seems to let you go up a step or 2 and pause take a break and then play your next step when you want to. Many casual players with families and jobs can't commit regular times or large periods except for big events. I play lots for 3 weeks then nothing for a couple.

DS's are one and done. I hate them! Don't get me started on the triple shootouts. STEPS are more of a progression. Something you keep trying over and over because it is not winner take all. DSs...I rarely play and if I lose, I might not play again for a month. Steps on the other hand lead you from one to the next and even if I don't win the table I'll still be in the STEP system to try again the majority of the time. This keeps me playing the STEPS, even if i normal wouldn't want to.

To us casual online players, the million is as big as we are likely to go. To many of us this is the grail, not a live event. WCOOP/PCA/WSOP is great but it is a small period and for the casual player it may not fit their schedule or budget. The million is every week, it is a huge event and the $$$ can be life changing.

So please create these asap. The demand is there.

SUNDAY MILLION STEPS
*rough draft: you could simply keep the format of the PCA STEPS but this format allows for the nickel and dime micro players to play multiple level 1's and it awards 3 Million Seats instead of 2 while still paying out 6/9 spots at Level 4.

Step 1
$2.20 ($1.80 rake)
1st- Step 2
2nd- Step 2
3rd- Step 1

Step 2
$8 ($4 rake)
1st- Step 3
2nd- Step 3
3rd- Step 2

Step 3
$30 ($14 rake)
1st- Step 4
2nd- Step 4
3rd- Step 3
4th- Step 3
5th- Step 2
6th- Step 2

Step 4
$90 ($15 rake)
1st- Sunday Million Ticket
2nd- Sunday Million Ticket
3rd- Sunday Million Ticket
4th- Step 4
5th- Step 3
6th- Step 3

possible rules for STEPS

*All tables are 1 table sit n gos.

*1st win must be played in that weeks Sunday Million

*All other wins there after award T$215

*No direct buy-in at Level 4

*During the $530 and $1050 event you can create special STEP 5's or alter the structure of level 4 slightly.

*You can create turbos and regular tables. These will be so popular that both will fill up.

Again...I'm sure your thinking...we have plenty of options DS's, Triple Shooutouts, Rebuy, etc etc.

This is a better option for the majority of low limit casual players out there. hell even the high limit players prefer this.

It will be more popular than those other satellites guaranteed or your money back!

Please create these ASAP PokerStars!

Thanks

I would think if they wanted to test these steps they would want to do so after the APPT and PCA steps die down.

The demand would be great enough that there is no need to wait.

What would be a good bankroll for the steps if you start at round 1?

This would be the only $2 tourney I would play where I actually try to win.

Yeah I got a similar one

if we keep emailing them enough we will break their willpower and they will give in.

or

they will get really annoyed.
