Default Is my choice good?

Hi there!

Well, today is a paycheck day and it's possible, that I will have spare money. I decided to order bunch of books from Amazon. Overall wanted books on theory and playing as well as just good poker related reading.

In poker my priority is cash games and now I am playing for about a year so basic stuff I know and I am not a total beginner.

How do You feel about my choice?

# Phil Hellmuth Presents Read 'Em and Reap: A Career FBI Agent's Guide to Decoding Poker Tells - Joe Navarro
# Positively Fifth Street - James McManus
# One of a Kind: The Rise and Fall of Stuey ',The Kid', Ungar, The World's Greatest Poker Player - Nolan Dalla
# Your Worst Poker Enemy - Alan N. Schoonmaker
# The Poker Mindset: Essential Attitudes for Poker Success - Ian Taylor
# Professional Poker: The Essential Guide to Playing for a Living - Mark Blade
# Phil Gordon's Poker Box Set: Phil Gordon's Little Black Book, Phil Gordon's Little Green Book, Phil Gordon's Little Blue Book - Phil Gordon
# How to Dominate $1 and $2 No Limit Hold 'Em - Sam O'Connor
# Caro's Book of Poker Tells - Mike Caro
# Doyle Brunson's Super System II - Doyle Brunson
# No Limit Hold 'em: Theory and Practice - David Sklansky
# Professional No-Limit Hold 'em: Volume I - Matt Flynn
# Winning Low-Limit Hold'em - Lee Jones

Thanks.

Not many limit books, I assume you wanna pursue NL mainly? I would rather have SSHE than winning low limit hold 'em, unless you're a rank beginner which it doesn't sound like from your post. Also Theory of Poker is a must.

I would get Harrington's series before I got Gordon's, but Gordon's books are good.

I thought about Harrington's, but since they are more or less books about tournament play, I delayed them. I play tourneys rarely and if I do, it's once in two months in some 40/50 plyrs live event. I figured, that basic theory and books about tells will do enough for me for a while in tourneys.

But, hey - maybe my paycheck will have some bonus in it, hah!

If I were shopping for new nl player, I'd tell them to read, in order:

1. the stu ungar book
2. theory of poker
3. hoh1
4. the stu ungar book
5. hoh2
6. full tilt book

The rest is online.
