AvP sucks hard and is not worth it all the way through.
SWE1 is pure torture but then ends with one good sabre fight.

Close call IMO.

I would suggest taking a bat to your tivo as punishment for effing up your viewing schedule and forcing you to watch this movie - you know you are going to, out of curiousity if nothing else. The damage has been done - the tivo must be punished so it doesn't eff up again!

Seriously, it's a huge steaming pile of crap. On thing that really, really, pissed me off: They go to all the trouble to recruit the heroine for her glacier navigating skills. They play the big guilt/responsibility card with a line that goes something like "But will second best get us there alive?" when she reccomends someone else to be their guide.

And then... They skip the whole trek accross the Antarctic!!

They pull up in the ship.
Cut.
They're at the pyramid.

I mean, wtf? Did we loose 10 minutes of footage there to editing? There at least HAS to be a scene there where she saves everybody's ass in an ice slide, or when everyone starts to fall down a crevice. And then someone says "Sure glad you decided to come along". Or something!!
