gimme his range pre and post

[/ QUOTE ]

AA/AK probably...so if we're folding this flop we're obv putting him squarely on AA right? If that's the case, why not just fold pre?

[/ QUOTE ]

wait what? you have his range pre as AA/AK ?

Nicky,

You 3 bet an UTG raiser and villan has relatively tight stats (18/15). You called the CB (something I actually like) and he still pushes a full stack on the turn. Will he do this with J-J, 10-10, or A-K? This particular villan doesn't seem like the type. If villan was smart, your hand is face up when u cold call a 4 bet and then a CB. He is repping one hand and only one hand. I tend to believe him given the action.

OK, I'm gonna think this one through.

A very solid player who you have never seen get out of line watches an UTG raise, and a MP 3-bet, and decides to 4-bet as the third player in, deep-stacked.

Gee, I wonder what he has?

Very reasonable to fold preflop here. Calling for set value is really thin. Calling to go broke on an undercard flop seems ridiculous.

Well and the other KK obv. And all I was trying to point out is that there's no point in calling pre if you're folding this flop since he pretty much never has a Q.

i would normally never fold KK in a 4bet pot unless an A flopped, but this is one of those spots where you gotta do it.

I'd be tempted to fold the flop tbh, but I probably wouldn't. You definitely have to fold the turn though. No way does he have AK or JJ here.
