I would 3-bet the flop, and bet/fold the turn vs a straight forward opponent.

Checking that turn to call a river is suicide, imo.

About the flop, Ive posted similar hands where the consensus was to wait to raise a safe turn. Why is 3 betting the flop better than waiting for a safe turn in this hand?

I like just calling the flop. I think folding this turn is best (I'd call down if the T were not a heart), but it's close.
