There will probably be no humans by the time the next ice age rolls around. Either:

1) We will be fat dumb and happy (and even perhaps relatively polution-free), stagnate, eventually use up certain critical resources, and then suffer a massive die-off.

or,

2) We will all be post-humans.

I voted the last option for each question. The whole global warming debate seems to be mostly politically motivated (by both sides.) To me, it's just "I hate hippies" vs. "I hate big greedy corporations."
