Default JJ - 200bb deep oop w/JJ in 3-bet pot.

villain here is Pokerbotontilt. std TAG w/21/16/2.6 stats.

we've tangled quite a bit this session and I think I've won every pot we've played. only hand that has gone to showdown, I tabled QQ (he had 99 and donk bet a T high flop, c/c a blank turn, and we checked down an A river). other biggish pot i won against him I took down after firing a 3rd barrel at the river.

I've 3-bet him once pre-flop and he folded.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$1/$2 Blinds
6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $455.30
BB: $192.00
UTG: $321.50
MP: $122.25
CO: $393.50
BTN: $199.20

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, CO raises to $7.00, BTN folds, Hero raises to $26.00, BB folds, CO calls $19.00

Flop: ($54) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $33.00, CO raises to $88.00, Hero ????

plan for the rest of the hand?

as for the flop bet, my std c-bet in a 3-bet pot is 3/5 - 2/3 pot, although he probably doesn't know this, so my flop bet may look weak to him.

Wow, you're 200bb deep, you're OOP and you're barely ever ahead. I'd just muck.

I think QQ is closer.. KK and AA is a call and re-eval on a safe turn. It just seems like his most likely hands are AKh, QQ or some huge draw like 87h. You're gonna hate so many turn cards that it's just better to fold because you'll rarely have the best of it.

Yeah no [censored], I kinda like it now that I think about it and I might start working it in if I ever get in this situation.

he doesn't even have to risk that much to get us to fold here.

This would be a much easier fold if the pre-flop re-raise wasn't so big.

Anyone else think that 3betting JJ deep OOP is a bad idea?
