Re: Canterbury 8/16 K5s UTG. WTF was I doing in this hand?
Next time just straddle. River is a bet. Don't worry about dumb coldcallers on a broadway board.
EDIT: Plus, in an aggro game there's no reason to suspect a flush given the flop non-action. |

Ahhh, the bluff call I've been reading so much about. Still don't get it, but that is just me.NH sir! Way to finish off your session in style.

<Melanie pauses from chewing her ice and telling us all how she would have won the last hand if she had stayed in, considers 4-balling, then cold calls.>
Haha, very amusing! Was she making her husband sit behind her and quietly read the entire newspaper, including all of the classifieds? I think she plays much tighter when he is there. |

Re: Canterbury 8/16 K5s UTG. WTF was I doing in this hand?
8/16 CP and you just limp with K5s? Last hand, you might as well 4 pop the pre-flop. j/k
I've ventured up to that freak show twice now. Next time I crawl out of my comfy 6/12 seat will be to 15/30. I know everyone here has read the many descriptions of this Lagapalooza, but there are some things you just have to see to believe. Some nights its line to line every pot, dealer basically locks arms together and does the two arm bulldozer sweep to push the pot. Given the reads, I love the play other than pre-flop. |
