Any rioting yet? It's been way too long since the U.S. last had a decent sports riot. Hope I see some overturned cars engulfed in flames on the news in the morning.

That was an awesome finish, Papelbon ftw. I wish I didnt have an exam tomorrow.

Rockies fans- Great run at the end, you guys def. had a better team than I thought. With your solid core of young talent you should be contending for definitely a couple of years. Great season, maybe see you next year?

Maybe. The Red Sox should be back unless they sign that albatross A-Rod. You have some very talented young players, and Pedroia's a stud.

The Rockies have very little to lose in terms of free agents, and the last two nights notwithstanding, Fuentes still has decent trade value. We need a #2 or #3 starter, but given their early rushed experience, Morales and Jimenez have bright futures. I expect the Rockies will be the West favorite going into next season, and I can't wait for single game tix to go on sale.

so i tried to go see kenmore square, but there's a human wall of police officers blocking me (and others) from getting in.

it is also too cold out, so i'm guessing there won't be a lot of crazy rioting.

YESSS, So amazing! I kept telling my friends in May/June how I liked this team better than the '04 team. Then Ellsbury came up, and then Buchholz. It was so great to watch it all come to fruition. Man, I just can't wait to watch these young guys journey toward superstardom over the next few years. But for now, I'm just enjoying this one. Weeeeeeeee!

Also, GG Rockies. I was on the Rockies bandwagon for months, until the World Series rolled around. Either way, I like their team and think they're going to be in contention again next year.
