They are close enough to Oregon now that if they beat Missouri and Oklahoma, they will definitely pass them in the computer rankings and I would think the voters would give the Jayhawks the nod too. If there is only one undefeated BCS team, then the voters will put them in the championship game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I shouldn't say it will easily happen because no, you're probably right that KU will get in by winning out, but I meant that there is greater than 0% chance that they don't.

Most intriguing: Oregon, LSU, and KU all win out. Miles campaigns against the Pac 10. Belotti's wife throws a fit.

Also intriguing: Oregon, LSU, and Oklahoma or Missouri win out.

As long as 3 of the top contenders win out, it will be fun to watch. I don't think the other teams (ASU/OSU/WVU) will get as much sympathy for being left out as Oregon or a Big XII champ, or LSU.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually there will be no intrigue. LSU will play KU, and the arguement for Oregon as the slighted team will be far less than that of Michigan last year. That said, KU and LSU needs to win out.

PS. We are probably all wasting time anyway, cause each week it seems a top 3 contender/pretender has blown themselves out of the picture anyway.

In the end we'll probably have one clear-cut team and 5 teams arguing that they should play that team.

BTW, there's no doubt that Gameday is gonna be at Arrowhead, right?

For some reason, I thought this game would be next week, but its the week after. Any thoughts for this week?

Off topic, but what is the order for the BCS bowls to pick the non-automatic bid teams?

In other words, say Oregon ends in the Rose bowl as the P-10 auto bid is USC more likely to play in the Fiesta/Sugar/Orange or there's no way of knowing?

Didn't Oregon get boned by Oklahoma a few years ago? That would suck if it happened again.

Maybe your thinking about how Cal got boned by Texas for the Rose Bowl after Mack Brown bitched about it?

I don't know a whole lot about the BCS system but I don't think USC will be in any of them after they lose to ASU on thanksgiving

They'll almost certainly be at the Big House for OSU/Michigan, even with OSU losing last week. The only other nationally significant matchups are Cincy/WVU and BC/Clemson.
