JJ facing preflop heat vs unknown...
This hand is versus an unknown player. I have seen him play basically TAG style but only for about 10 hands so thats not worth much.
What is my best line here? Re: JJ facing preflop heat vs unknown...
Fold. You beat nothing except AK, and your going to be likely facing a push on the flop. You don't have implied odds to flop your set.

Re: JJ facing preflop heat vs unknown...
I would like making it a little more, something like 4.5 on ur first raise. When he 4b, u just have to toss that hand away. Dont think you will get good value by calling, raising would make it at best a flip. Just wait for a better spot and dump this hand away.

Re: JJ facing preflop heat vs unknown...
You're not deep enough to call for set odds, so I can find a fold.

Re: JJ facing preflop heat vs unknown...
After playing live in Vegas for the last 2 weeks, my game was a little off when I started playing again today....and so we see this...
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $24.75 BB: $62.55 UTG: $25.00 MP: $46.15 CO: $21.35 BTN: $24.65 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) 3 folds, BTN raises to $0.85, Hero raises to $3.25, BB folds, BTN raises to $8.50, Hero raises all-in to $24.75, BTN calls all-in for $16.15 Uncalled bet of $0.10 returned to Hero Flop: ($49.55) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) Turn: ($49.55) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) River: ($49.55) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) Pot Size: $49.55 ($2.45 Rake) BTN had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Sixes) and LOST (-$24.65) Hero had J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a full house, Jacks full of Sixes) and WON (+$22.45) At least I sucked out, spent the weekend playing with some hyper agg players and forgot where I was at... At NL 25, the small 4 bet is pretty much always AA/KK with a mix of AK thrown in there, but at your best you are racing for your stack....this should be a fold w/out a read unless you like to gambooool! |
