Its not that I can't believe you folded it but that you folded after calling the turn 3bet. At that point you are committed. You have to felt it. You are making a massive mistake by putting too much of your stack in before folding.

I was getting the odds to fill up on the turn, assuming he has A3 or 56s

I don't like that fold. I feel like the $2 on the turn was a pretty transparent block bet, you knew that and made it pot to take away a cheap card at a flush draw. He decided to try to draw out on you and called. The diamond didn't come on the river, but you checked. He knew the only way he could win the pot was to bet, so that is what he did.

I could be completely wrong of course, but I would have lead out half pot on any non-diamond, non-3 river. At the least, i would have check-called.

Edit: My first post and I misread the hand. I missed CO's raise on the turn. I push or fold turn. Probably push.

The only hands that we are really worried about are also filling up if we do. That doesn't seem like great logic. If you think you will be ahead after you fill up then you should still be pushing or folding to the turn 3bet.

Edit: Just so you don't think I disregarded your whole post, the hands that you mention are not a large part of their range I don't think without specific reads that they are maniacs.

I am much more concerned about over sets. I think you get 3bet pf by AA-QQ and JJ-TT may just call. Other hands that just call are more likely to have hit a set like TT. I don't see the 3bet with middle pp's that didn't connect. However, I just don't put villain on 65s. Maybe A3.

So bet fold the river? I don't hate that either but I think I prefer check call. Leading seems to give villain the chance to bluff raise us. The pot is big and worth fighting for.

The worst in my opinion is a bet/call since I think there is a strong chance this is going to get raised if we bet. I want to felt this hand. I call the river suck bet and yell at my dog if I was behind to 65s.
