In order to better make recommendations, it would be helpful to know what game, and stakes you play and would like literature for.

i'll probably start at the micro Holdem no-limit stakes online first to try and build a bankroll, and gradually move up when I feel i can beat that limit.

There are some much anticipated cash game books in the works now with Dan Harrington and 2+2. In the mean time I suggest reading this and all the links found within. I will help your game a great deal.

No problem, buddy. If you'd like some more information on books that are currently out there here's what to do.

1) Click on the Search function above and to the right.
2) Select Books and Publications for the forum to search.
3) Enter this exactly: +"cash" -"Re:" for your keywords.
4) Select how far back you wish to search. 3 months should be more than enough.

This will provide you with links to other threads that have been made on the topic of cash game books.

I've been anxiously awaiting the first of this supposed series since I first heard about it. Do we have any kind of ETA at all yet? TIA for any info.

Ace on the River by Barry Greenstein is the best book on cash game poker in my opinion.

Oh, I loved Greenstein's book. It was one of my favorite reads; I start and finished it the same day. To me, though, it was more a book about the poker lifestyle than a how-to book. Granted, there were some great instructional chapters, but it was almost more of a poker autobiography...a very well-written poker autobiography.
