Indeed. But a lot of the old hip hop that was cool, is now that commercialized rap (Black Eyed Peas for one).

Ya, any clubs or public places are gonna be playin the same ol overplayed junk. The very fact that soulja boy is considered a rapper makes me wanna puke. There is a lot of good indie stuff all over the internet though if you are willing to take the time to seek it out
