Final Pot: 8.00 BB. no real reads, though i felt he was a tad loose was quite surprised when he folded do u think he had the ace, and thought i had caught the flush? still a bit too aggressive on the flop maybe? or is 3 bet ok with second pair |

Re: what did he think i had?
Make a note and be inclined to raise him on scary boards. Looks like he is weak/tight and really feared the flush.

Then again, I wouldn't complete in the small blind w/ a weak ace and probably wouldn't 3-bet on the flop either. Then again, I could be weak/tight. |

Re: what did he think i had?
saying "youre a donk" isnt very constructive. I know i probably played this hand badly and still won. So you would have folded after his 3 bet on the flop? or check called to showdown?

Re: what did he think i had?
I don't understand why you decided to play in this spot. Let's look at the facts:
1. When the action gets to you on the flop, the pot is 5 SB. 2. You have middle pair w/ a 9 kicker on an Ace high 2flush board. 3. There are two people to act behind you who voluntarily put money in the pot. 4. SB thinks his hand warrants a donk on this flop into 3 villains - normally, that indicates strength (either a decent made hand like TPNK, or a strong draw like FD or OESD, or maybe a pair and a GSST). You are relatively likely to be behind already. If you are ahead, I won't say that you are likely to be drawn out on, because you aren't that likely if you are ahead w/ a pair of Queens - but w/ a 2 flush, it will happen sometimes. The pot is small. All this means you should fold. But I don't know, listen to someone w/ more experience - I could be weak/tight. |

Re: what did he think i had?
size of pot is something i dont take into account enough, will have to work on that. Being over agressive/under agressive is something i also have to work on, and welcome anyones views on this.
what difference would it have made if the pot was , say, 10 SB, is my play still wrong then? or what |

Re: what did he think i had?
Looks to me like he thought you were on a flush draw, then hit it.
I'm not about to try and get into the head of a .50/1.00 player though. It's a level of thinking too far in most cases for those stakes. |

Re: what did he think i had?
*grönsch*
Im folding this flop with two people yet to act. Given that you didnt, I think your turn raise is fine. And villains fold is just retarded. |

Re: what did he think i had?
Does it really matter what he thought you had? He thought you had a hand that beat his. Period. And y'know what? He was right.
Now if you had been holding a glazed donut and the hand-rankings card and had posted at the top, "Villan is weak-tight postflop," then we'd have something to talk about. Not much, but something. |
