bennett family dinner scene was god awful

Re: Heroes Premiere TONIGHT, Sept. 24th
the real problem with this episode is that the season finale was only about 60% bad. the rest of it that was good, was ruined by this episode. Nathan's sacrifice wasn't really a sacrifice, he's still alive. Sylar, the too powerful villain is also still alive. peter is alive (not a big shocker) but they gave him Amnesia (which is only slightly less gay if it's hatian amnesia) Parkman, also not dead. WTF was the point of the finale if everyone is alive?
it only took one episode of Season 2 to drain my enthusiasm. i'll probably watch it some more but it'll take a turnaround for me to care. oh and claire's whole family gets to another High School, with more evil cheerleaders, so we get the whole thing again, this time without the awesome suspense. lame. |

Re: Heroes Premiere TONIGHT, Sept. 24th
Early (albeit what i would have thought obvious) prediction seen as i haven't seen anybody put it forward yet, Sulu was killed by Sylar, who now(or always did) works for the council.
Also, couldn't figure out if the Nathan scarring scene was literal or just figurative. |

Re: Heroes Premiere TONIGHT, Sept. 24th
I would be all over that idea if Peter wasn't found at the end of the episode. Now it can only be true if the Peter we saw at the end was really Sylar, and that doesn't seem very likely. Or maybe it does.

Re: Heroes Premiere TONIGHT, Sept. 24th
Just finished watching this, because I fell asleep last night when I tried the first time.
Hated it, way worse than the worst of last season, it wouldn't take more than one or two more episodes of this crap to get me to give up on this show. |

Or maybe it does. [/ QUOTE ] Yea, I was just about to say. It's plausible that the Peter we saw in the crate at the end of the episode was actually Sylar, but the Haitian had wiped his memory, and he no longer remembers all the bad things he used to do (Can someone name the recent movie or TV series about a girl who used to do really bad things, gets amnesia, and then discovers everyone hates her for things she doesn't remember doing?). Meanwhile, Nathan really did die saving Peter and the others, and in guilt (remember Peter has Claire's regeneration power) Peter has been impersonating Nathan. This explains his un-Nathan-like behavior, seeing a scarred man in the mirror, and keeping an extremely low profile. |
