tough spot. this is one of those times where top 2 looks pretty crappy. this ubernit has a set or T9 most of the time. he's probably checking on the river with worse 2 pair hands. i dunno...im leaning towards a fold.

How can we fold river to that 1/2 pot bet? I think we're splitting here a lot.

Fold. I might even fold the turn. Looks like 33 or 88 to me.

What does he lead out with on the flop, and then c/r with on the turn? He was either open ended and hit his straight, or (if we're lucky) its a chop. I probably fold the turn.

i'm surprised everyone wants to fold. sb completed, his range includes a lot of worse 2 pair hands...and we have the best 2 pair. i'm pretty sure we're good enough at the river to call a 1/2 pot sized bet.

SB is a nit. he'll probably fold j8 and j3 rather than complete. at best we're splitting. i agree w/ the poster that said if you're playing really good you'll find a fold on the turn. usually i dont and end up in this crap situation...where the pot odds are making you sick because you dont wanna call but you feel like you have to.
