Re: badly played QQ?
What were your thoughts on the turn?
I would have bet and fold to agression. By checking and calling you put yourself on a tough decision on the river since the LAG could have spotted your weakness when you checked and used it against you. |

Re: badly played QQ?
I wud prefer to bet/f this turn. U give him a great opportunity to bluff at this pot. What's the plan when u c/c turn? Hope that he checks behind on the river?
Bet and if u get raised u can easily throw it away without good reads. If u get called on the turn u have to in most instances c/f to a ~ psb. On the other hand I find a call on the turn unlikely if he holds a jack (maybe with jx ad). Way more likely with a made nut flush or a fh. As played, u beat nothing on the river and have to fold |

Re: badly played QQ?
Just bet/fold the turn. Still plenty of value in the hand.

Re: badly played QQ?
ya pls dont get into check/call mode when you think your hand is beat, because you dont get any information that way and will just end up spewing your chips away.
definentally bet the turn and fold to a raise, and maybe you both can check the river down... I think a J would always be betting on the river here though |
