fold turn. you seem to really consider calling...coupled w/ the notes you have on him (he has a high 3bet calling range apparently) why didn't you bet the flop?

i think i bet flop here and probably go broke given your reads.

I call because I rock and AK > 98.

Nobody really bothered with an analysis so I don't see much reason to post my thoughts.

eh, i am curious as to your thoughts. i dont get flop check then turn check. are you thinking: i'm going to induce a bluff and call and win? if he bets flop do you fold?

this guy is obviously bad but he seems like the type to do this w/ 22-99 on the turn as well.

yea, i guess if you're gonna check flop/turn like this calling seems reasonable vs such a maniac. you are inducing a bluff, but you're also playing your hand face up. would you ever play JJ+ like this? so you set yourself up to make this call b/c you can be 75% sure he has nothing b/c who shoves with a set vs such passiveness?

Ouch on the notes

That said, I see how you can justify making a hero call here, but if this guy is that bad, why not just find a better spot? I mean, it's a matter of time til you can cash that lottery ticket, so why put yourself in a spot where you think you are ahead, but not sure...

That said, if you want to get it in w/ AK u/i, I think the flop is the place to do it though.

Maybe this is because our analysis is useless in the face of your read.

You made a read, you were right, and are posting this to brag.

Are you trying to claim that ANY part of this hand that you played is NOT read based?

Seriously, you want MY thoughts on YOUR read?

What. The. [censored].

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Reads are things that change the weighing of our decisions, but we still need to analyze the streets and the possible thought processes (who puts who on what, etc).

These notes are pretty valuable, I would say. It means that I have recorded villain pulling a lot of crap. This is something we can use in order to weigh our decisions.

The next step is to possibly find out WHEN villain pulls of his crap and HOW. That's a thing I was still working on in my reads of him (if those tells where to be found). If you can get there in terms of reads, then changing the whole thing to a better summary would be good, but as it stands, this is fine.

The 'better spot' argument has to do with not having enough information to justify the odds you are getting. This I believed to not be the case.
