He's played full time for 17 years, and both his bracelets are from Omaha. I don't doubt that Brian would have the edge online (definitely in NLH, maybe in PLO), but 17 years of live experience has to count for something. So again, why is Farha the big fish and Brian god almighty? |

Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
That would have been a good line...Oh well.
Kjell - many of the posters here are online players. They don't really understand how to play live poker, or what makes a player great. They also seem to not get that Sammy is one of the best players in the world - they make their judgements based on his play in HSP and other televised shows, instead of on what his peers say. But generally speaking, they will say any online pro is better than a live pro. I wonder if they know the live players laugh when online players come to the table to play real poker. |

Many of them are fanboys, have watched a few episodes of HSP and come up with general conclusions. Alot of them are less than half decent players online and make a small profit while others are just delusional losing players. Pretty much everyone in this thread (bar obvious exceptions) doesn't have a clue about HU poker and some of the posts here are completely retarded. |

Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
Guys, I let down NVG, I'm really sorry.
In Bobby's room I'm convinced I was the only person even slightly interested in the action going on in there when I stopped by around 7:45 to watch yellowsub win monies at 60/120 badugi. I tried SOOOO very hard to get a picture via my cameraphone ninja-style but the bellagio guys are very effective at combating my ninja techniques, and as such i failed miserably. Farha had a attractive older woman with him and aba was wearing his standard green sb rugby tee, and at the very end I think they played a pot blind because aba was peeling his PLO cards creatively. sub told me aba was sitting on multiple racks of flags, which is pretty gross. After the game aba was talking with a normal guy in his forties, brown hair in a blue shirt, I guess that may have been a guy who had a piece of aba's action (?). It was a spectacle, and I was happy to briefly see it, and yet again I fail to introduce myself to aba because he's playing in the most nosebleed game of his life. *sigh |
