Default Negreanu

I prepaid for his book on Amazon about a year and a half ago. Any idea when it will be finished??

Shoot, they should send me a free book, or pay me interest.

I don't understand why people do this. Isn't the pre-paid price the same as the new release price?

The book will be on your doorstep on the release date. At least this has been the case the few times I have pre-ordered CDs. If that's not the case then I have no idea.

I think the only way we see this book in this decade is if someone makes a prop bet against Negreanu. I know he's got other stuff going on, but what's the point in announcing something and then not being able to follow through. Makes him look pretty bad IMO.

A prop bet may result in the book getting done, but it would also likely result in the book being of a lesser quality.

These things take time. When you add multiple authors to the equation it will likely take even more time.

I can only imagine what it must have been like for Michael Craig to get the Full Tilt book done. He's a writer/player, not a player/"writer". Must be like herding cats. For someone who's main living isn't writing, how much harder would it be to do that kind of heavy lifting?

It would be a labor of love, and few have that kind of love for that much labor.

yep, i know of books being written/almost done being written that im sure wont be put in print for at least a year.

theyre also currently being sold for large large sums compared to how much it will cost on release.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but whats the point of preordering. It's not like its gonna sell out like PS3 or anything.
