Default Should I expect to plateau shortly?

I've been working out 5 times a week (weight training) for about 8 weeks now. I started the protein drinks about 5 weeks ago. In total I have put on about 17-20 pounds. I am pretty happy with my results. I want to put on another 15 pounds. If I keep eating the same amount and same protein and same workout....can i expect to put on 15 more pounds in the next 2-4 months.

Backgorund info: Im 6 ft tall and my normal weight for the last 10 yrs is only about 155 to 160...thats with no working out at all and regualr not great diet. My diet now is a little better but not like crazy amounts of calories. I have no idea on the caolories. Right now Im at 175 llbs. I want to be 190.

the bigger you get the less weight you will put on with the same food...carrying more mass will require more calories to maintain so you will be less and less above maintenance as your weight increases...

so continue to monitor your progress and if your weight increase is slower than you want then you will need to increase intake...

is it OK to just increase the number of protein drinks cus I usually only drink 1-2 pre day? Or do I have to actually take in more calories?

well, i was aware that the protein "drink" had calories but it's not from the actual protein is it? And I think there is only 21g of protein per 2 scoops whcih is how much I use. So 21x4=84 cal only anyways...which is not nmuch.

dude, are you being serious? check the nutritional facts for your protein...this goes for anything you put in your mouth...

1g protein = 4cals
1g carb = 4cals
1g fat = 9cals

Not counting fiber, which slides through your body like a criminal with a diplomatic passport. I don't think that's a concern with protein shake.
