Default Anyone ever stay at a big suite at the Imperial Palace?

For the price of a regular room at TI, I can get the "deluxe king suite" at IP. Is this a good choice? I know all about the situation with the Palace, just wondering if anyone has experience with these rooms. Do they have any bigger, more baller suites for a bit more?

Virtual tour: http://delivery.vrxstudios.com/50152...&id_type=2

Thanks...

IP is one of the lowest end hotels on the strip. The casino has country music and they have a big antique car collection. The rooms are OK, but not as nice as most of the other hotels. So naturally a suite there costs what a room at TI does.

Location Location is the name of the game in Vegas hotel stays.

The I.P. is a mediocre hotel/casino inside but the spot across the street from the Mirage and Cearers and walking distance to the Venetian, Bellagio, etc is great. Yes I have stayed at the I.P. twice before.

Have stayed there with prev GF, it was a great deal for the price, the bathtub is not a jacuzzi FYI. If you are looking to impress someone, spend some $, if you just want a nicer room that a standard 2 queen, this will cover ya. Also, the bathroom and bathtub are right next to the bed, so dont think about sharing this room and having someone sleep on the couch.

Just got back from staying at the IP.

Had the double queen room, approx $130/night for 5 nights.

Room was clean and adequate. The air conditioner worked well. Showers worked fine too.

All I did was crash there at night (wee hours)anyway.

Would stay again because of the location ( A+ ) and the price.

The suites there are still kinda dumpy. I stayed at a suite when I got an upgrade about 2 years ago. Don't know if they renovated since then but I've vowed never to stay there again.

I just got back from Vegas Saturday and stayed in one of these suites. When I checked in they were out of non-smoking standard rooms so they upgraded me for free which I thought was really nice. I was pleased with the room, especially for what I was paying. It was really spacious, and pretty nice but not super plush or anything. I love the location of the IP but one thing I will tell you is that the elevator situation there is brutal. Its something you have to experience for yourself to believe, just standing there waiting for 10-15 minutes for an elevator to open up and when it finally does its crammed full of people. They have like 4 working elevators for the entire hotel, its insane. If you stay there get on a low floor and take the stairs down. I was on the 11th floor and took there stairs anyway (once with a suitcase).

Psst. there's two more "secret" elevators right near there that most people *wink*wink* don't know about.
