playing draws in a multiway pot
I may be missing something simple here but i'd like to get some 2p2 opinions on this.
6 Max, you are in the BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Two limpers, SB completes and you check. Flop comes 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero? I have been betting these situations like maybe 2/3 pot but i am not even sure why anymore. Any constructive comments welcome |

Re: playing draws in a multiway pot
I always lead out here because I'm doing it with a pair, too. We want to build a pot, etc. I suppose 4 ways checking and calling isn't horrible but it really makes our hand look like what it is.

[ QUOTE ]
i bet flop check call turn and go from there [/ QUOTE ] It would seem that this line would be slightly -EV, but I think the metagame advantages compensate for this (ie we are betting out here with TPGK, 2 pair, set, etc.) |
