2/4 150BB deep w/top two on the flop, getting valueshoved on the river
Is this a call on the river? How'd I play the rest of the hand? I think my flop raise was a bit small, but besides that?

His line is just sooo much like a draw and none of them hit anything so I would call pretty fast. Expect to see a weird played a set or AT her some times though.

Re: 2/4 150BB deep w/top two on the flop, getting valueshoved on the river
I'd just shove the river. Especially when the ace came and he could have hit it, or if he gets stubborn with a ten I don't think he will fold significantly more often to a push. River looks a hell of a lot like a ten that hit the flush. Honestly I don't think you have the odds to call. Course I would ingame.

Re: 2/4 150BB deep w/top two on the flop, getting valueshoved on the r
i think your beat here almost always. flush seems highly likely(ksts jsts qsts). flop raise is fine. turn is fine. river depends on various factors, but theres arguments for checking and betting. if villian is loose and bad and/or you are an aggro player who fires down a lot then betting is fine, but u should just shove the river. if your a tight player who wouldnt bet here without a big hand and/or villian is good, u should check.
villian has to be pretty bad or u have to be pretty aggro to get called by a worse hand here. |
