Negatory. Now that St. Louis has sacked up and started playing for pride after mailing it in for a few games following their mathematical elimination, the FIRST-PLACE CHICAGO CUBS' magic number is now 3. Milwaukee's still two back with four to go, and while I've learned to take nothing for granted, I still like those odds.

As for football, I have nothing to say on that front except my current avatar. Looks like I'm not the only one taking the approach of the old New Orleans Aint's fans, though:

Quote of the day, from someone I work with...

"My friend is currently in Japan at the Great Wall of China"

I replied with "Are u serious?" (thinking it was a pretty lame joke!) Apparently she was serious!

It's Port Adelaide vs Geelong.

hmm...wtf do I do with this? I mean gmail is my baby now. I don't just kill my baby do I??

Don't leave Gmail up in a browser window and surf other sites. Don't surf weird porn sites. Don't click on links in emails. Don't click on links you don't know about here on 2+2 or other forums. Shouldn't be that big a deal.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmm..these are my normal behaviors. I speculate that they will patch this soon.

Sadly, no. The free-month preview of the channel I was watching AFL on ended. I'm sure that in no way was related to the fact that the Rugby World Cup was beginning and would have aired on that same network (Setanta Sports, from Ireland). My satellite provider was much more interested in me buying the whole RWC package for $150 than letting me see it for free.

However, I did get to see Team USA's first match. They lost to England 28-10, but considering England is the defending champions, that was considered an excellent performance by the Eagles, who were expected to lose by something like 50 points.

Not a bad effort at all. Their last match will be a tough one too vs SA.

I noticed Sushi mention it as well as a few others in various forums, but for those who have read it, what is your impression of "How Good Is Your Limit Hold'Em"?

[/ QUOTE ]

It is good but one criticism I have is that hand examples good be expressed in bets also, not only in cash. Unless it is meant for the reader to work it out.

lol, isn't it funny when the sole reason why u r sitting at the table is 'cause there's a giant fish there!

Pity that the fish is pwning everyone!!

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I was playing against him! However the honeymoon was over 63 hands later...

I'm bloody glad he stayed, but how could u not stop after dropping back to $500! (esp when he's only playing 1 tbl)
