Surely the more publicity AP receive, the worse it is for them (i.e. why are they paying you??).
Honesty should be the best policy but AP must be mad if they think 'outing' the problems to the somewhat ignorant 'joe public' will allow them to move on..

(Not that signing a limited NDA is anything big here, it just depends on what it covers).
