Well, the good news is you won. The bad news is you played a very bad hand. AKT5 where only t5 are suited should be folded preflop unless you are playing HU plo with some special situation. Even then you do not want to shove this preflop. Propokertools.com allows you to calculate pot equity for any hand or range of hands. EV is a dollar amount that will show you whether calling or raising or folding (always ev=0) is the best play. EV is most usefully calculated during flop and post flop play. Provide a sample hand of postflop play and I will explain.

Some people say AK's a drawing hand, but I disagree. You're usually flipping at worst so you need to put the other guy to a decision for all his chips. You were in a push/fold situation and you went for it. No limit hold 'em's a game that awards bold aggressive moves.

Oh wait, you were playing PL Omaha? Yeah, not such a good play then.

Sorry my advice wasnt very constructive - the other posters pretty much covers the basics of this hand

you should only play hands with nut potential, and while you do have nut potential with AKTx, the problem is you will probably have to chop a broadway, or even worse get your money in on the flop with the temporary nuts and be freerolled by a flush
